Risk disclosure

TRXWatt is experimental software. Using it — as a buyer or a seller — puts TRX at risk. Read this before connecting a wallet or moving funds. If you do not accept these risks, do not use the service.

Experimental & testnet

The current deployment runs on the TRON Nile testnet as a demo. It has not completed an independent external security audit. A mainnet launch, if any, will follow such an audit — but an audit never eliminates risk.

Contract-custody, not self-custody

Sellers who stake do not retain custody of their TRX. Staked TRX is held by the on-chain broker contract. Withdrawal of principal is enforced by contract code via a per-seller ledger — but that guarantee is only as strong as the contract code itself. A bug in the contract could delay, trap, or lose pooled funds. This is a deliberate trade-off versus a native permission-grant (self-custody) model.

Smart-contract & operator risk

Liquidity & the unstake delay

Staked principal is subject to the TRON protocol's ~14-day unstake delay. You cannot withdraw principal on demand. Earnings can generally be claimed sooner, but are not guaranteed to be available at any specific time.

No guaranteed returns

Any yield or APY figure shown (on the sell page, blog, or elsewhere) is an estimate derived from live network parameters and assumed utilization. It is variable and not guaranteed, is not a promise of future performance, and is not investment advice. Actual results depend on real utilization, network energy yield, burn price, and governance changes — all outside our control.

Network & governance risk

TRON governance can change core parameters (energy burn price, energy yield, staking/unstake rules) at any time. Such changes can reduce or eliminate the economic benefit for buyers or sellers.

Regulatory uncertainty

The legal treatment of pooled staking, energy rental, and contract-custody models is unsettled and varies by jurisdiction. The service may be unavailable to you, or may change or cease, based on regulatory developments. You are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
